Trying to conceive can be a very difficult time for those who long to have a child. As the months roll by, the pressure from family, friends, and society takes an emotional toll. Self-blame, grief, and depression are all too common. It can have a negative impact on work, relationships, and life satisfaction in general.
There is a lot of information available about the medical aspects of infertility and conception. However, there is little that deals with the intense psychological stress that comes with it. We need a resource that encourages rational optimism, and uses the latest evidence-based strategies (such as cognitive behavior therapy, or CBT) to help keep people positive.
